Absoluteastronomy.com is an online information portal that provides reference information and interactive features for a variety of topics. This site was launched in 1999 and is based in Seattle, Washington.
The homepage features links to information about historical events, interesting natural phenomena, and topics relevant to the current news headlines. The homepage also contains a list of featured topics, featured discussions, ‘Top Ten’ lists, and a list of popular pages this week
Clicking on a topic displays a page with detailed information and photos about the topic, as well as a list of current discussion about the topic, quotes related to the topic, and definitions of words contained within the topic description. Visitors can email, print, and bookmark the topic, and they can click ‘Link’ to receive a link address for placing a link to the topic on other sites.
The ‘Discussions’ section features the latest forum discussions, along with a list of the most active discussions. Registration is required in order to post messages in the forums.
The ‘Topics’ section provides an alphabetical index of every topic covered on the site. The ‘Dictionary’ features a search bar, a ‘Word of the Day,’ and a list of the most popular pages this week. The ‘Almanac’ section provides a list of featured timelines, a ‘Today in History’ event list, a ‘Factoids’ section containing random facts in a variety of categories, and a ‘Top Ten Lists’ section featuring several top ten lists in a variety of categories.

They were part of Himmler's two-part Lebensborn program and either born in one of the over twenty maternity homes set up in Germany or occupied countries or kidnapped and brought back to Germany to childless couples to raise as part of the new Master Race.
Information about Lebensborn was very sketchy when I was writing my novel, just published by Eloquent Books. The registered program was headquartered in Munich and all records were destroyed as the Allies advanced.
The program was so secret that the soon-to-be mother swore to keep her identity secret for her lifetime.
Lebensborn novel is the story of a French girl caught in this SS trap to create their Master Race.
Part One shows life under the rule of an elite SS group and men in her little village southeast of Paris. The Second Part follows her into a Lebensborn. Of course it's found now on-line on Amazon & Barnes & Noble and I'll be doing excerpts and explaining "why" the program could take place in a country noted as the most civilized and cultured.
