Slashfood.com is a website about food and food culture that is a part of the AOL website network. The front page features a slideshow of recent stories, as well as other recent stories in a blog format just below. It also includes links to the site’s Facebook and Twitter pages and its RSS feed, a link to a Slashfood app for the iPhone, the Tip of the Day, popular stories, pictures, related websites, and more. The News tab features food news of all kinds, from business news and farming news to magazines. The Chefs & Restaurants tab features articles about various chefs and restaurants, fast food, gourmet, and otherwise, as well as similar information about coffee shops and bakeries, and a link to another site’s feature called the Skinny Chef, about making less fattening food. The reviews tab gives food reviews of all kinds, including cookbooks, restaurants, and fast food. The Recipes tab lists many different recipes by ingredient or by method, as well as drink recipes and food for parties and entertainment. The Features tab includes articles on drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, quizzes, ingredient spotlights, local delicacies, holidays, taste tests, and more. The All Categories lists all of the categories that articles could be under, and at the top of the page, there are links to aol.com, aol.com’s mail service, and kitchendaily.com, which hosts the Skinny Chef feature.
