High School Sports is a website created for two different purposes. The first purpose of High School Sports is so that fans can keep track of their high school's sports team. The second and main reason why the website was created was so that coaches have a way to organize their team's events as well as keep track of information about other teams. Although the website is for all high school sports, it has emphasis on boys’ varsity football, boys’ varsity baseball, boys’ varsity basket ball and girls’ varsity basketball. The home page has a simple layout with a search box as the main feature. Also located on the home page is an information box that contains the top five schools according to the Massey Rankings. Next to the Massey Ratings box is a USA Today super 25 schools board.

In the search box located at the top of the home pages, one can look up a school by entering either the school's name, the city in which the school is located or a zip code. Fans, students, parent, coaches, and athletes can create an account by entering their email address and creating a password. Their first name, last name, and answering your gender is also required to create an account.
