scout.com is a site sponsored by Foxsports.com and MSN, containing all things scouting for professional sports. The main page displays a picture and related stories to the most relevant scouting activities of the time, such as the NFL scouting combine. This site has a fairly clean interface at the top of the page with rss feeds, links to each major sport, a site search box and an option to sign up for the site. On the right hand side of the website, at the top, there are a couple of advertisements and a video with relevant news stories. The middle of the site has information about rankings for each major school in terms of the number of players committed to the schools and a section that will allow you to scout your team in all major sports. Scrolling further to the bottom of the site you will find information from the “scout.com experts”, with articles on particular players, schools or scouting strategies. There is an “opinion poll” which has different questions on a regular basis that site visitors can vote on. Finally, toward the bottom of the site there are “teams to watch”, “weekly awards” and site advertisements from sponsors. The site organizes the usual contact us, etc in a different way than most with the “Places to Go, Things to Do, Things to Know” framework.
