Gourney’s is a seed and nursery company. Their website is with many appealing pictures as well as organized text. The website is divided by seven different tabs; Home, Quick Order, Free Catalog, Free Newsletter, Find Zone, New 2009 and On Sale. Under the Quick Order tab one has the option to use Gurney’s Quick Order method of shopping. To do this, the user must have an account and key number. IF they do not have this they can not use quick order. For those who do have an account and key number with Gurney’s can simply enter the numbers into the system and their address and information can be accessed. Afterwards, when all of the information requested from the customer is acquired the customer can enter the item number located in the Gurney’s catalog and then he or she can simply enter the quantity. Finally, the shopper has the option to add the things to his or her cart and continue shopping or add the things to the cart and checkout. For those who do not have an account number or a key idea, they can order a free catalog and both number will be placed on the label located on the back of the catalog.
