Yellowpages.com is an online phonebook and directory owned by AT&T, a communications company. This site provides several services, the main service being address and phone number information about businesses and individuals.

Businesses can be searched by name, category, location, distance from a particular zip code or city, and by phone number. The results can be narrowed or expanded by selecting from the left hand menu. Each result contains a business address and phone number, a map, a driving directions tool, and any reviews and ratings the business has received from Yellow Pages members.

An individual can be searched by name, phone number, address, area code or zip code. Each result provides a name, an address and a phone number; and there is also an option to look up other people in that same area. If available, a brief demographic snapshot of the nearest city is also provided in the listing.

Yellowpages.com also provides a free map and driving direction service and a variety of toolbars and phone applications available through it’s ‘Mobile and More’ page. While all recent searches are saved in the ‘MyYellowPages.com’ section, registration is required to access other features of the site. Registration is free and allows a user to rate and review businesses and to save listings.
