This is an interesting site. It is run by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations. It covers the National Weather Service. All you have to do is pick your city in the U.S. This site is well set out and easy to follow with a map in the center of the page and listings on the left side. You can zoom in closer to the map and zoom out. The map shows warnings and forecasts, geographical forecasts, national maps, radar, water, air quality, satellite and climate.

On the map and below you can find color coded areas that each means a different warning. Green is for Flash Flood Watch. Purple is High Surf Advisory and so on. You can get observations, forecasts, text messages, climate, weather safety and an information and contact center. You can get high and low temperatures covering the states. There is an astronomical data area where all you have to do is enter your city or town.

You can also input worldwide information. There is a Tsunami area where you can get information and be prepared for any storms. Then there is an administrative section and a contact section. This site will truly advise and prepare you for any weather and emergency that could hit the United States.
