This site is all about the University of Kentucky. It is a compact site and it features blue as the prominent color especially in the background with riveted tiles. The top of the site has a site index and search box along with the choice of UK Web, People or Site Index. Then there is a grouping of topics you can find on the site like student life, academics, research, arts and culture, Novel H1N1 Flue and more.
Below that you can find an interesting picture spotlighting the school and its students. There is a UK Now ad and another ad for The University of Kentucky. In the middle of the page you will find the News box. Here there is a list with different topics like Bale Boon Symposium Discusses Evolution and more news to read when you are done. Under that you will find the same box titled Events.
Here you will find events like Graduate and Professional School Showcase with more events with a click. There is a changing picture and ad for SeeBlueUK.com. Another box at the bottom of the page holds Explore and Connect information with topics like Photo Gallery, UK Bookstore, Get Involved, Face book, You Tube Explore UK and more. Beside that box and attached to adjacent box students can get advice on finding funds for their college education complete with a video.
