Time.com is the online version of Time magazine. News articles on many subjects are featured and updated daily. Visitors may choose articles to view by subject from links presented out the top of the home page. Timely articles are featured with images near the top of the page.

Features include the news in brief, latest headlines, best and worst lists, must-reads, most emailed and most read. Time also features “10 questions”. These are reader submitted questions asked of notable figures such as celebrities and prominent political figures. A multimedia block allows users to choose videos, podcasts and photos relating to news articles. Visitors may opt to sign up for newsletters and the latest news delivered via email. A user may also sign up for news to be sent to a mobile device.

Search boxes are available to search the site or an archive of cover stories. Several options are presented to subscribe to Time magazine or purchase individual issues, including the current issue. Visitors may vote on a poll consisting of a topical question. A voter may choose to see total poll results or results by region. Podcasts and RSS feeds are available.

Top stories by topic are again presented in text only in a large block named More Inside Time.com. This is followed by a repeat of the category tabs found at the top of the page. More links are available at the bottom of the page to subscribe to Time magazine, order reprints, visit Time for kids and more.

This is a news site, featuring articles from Time magazine as well as original content. You can read thousands of articles from Time magazine, including daily news and analysis, blogs, news photos, video, and tech reviews.

Along the top you can select a topic to refine your search: U.S., Politics, World, Biz & Tech, Health & Science, Entertainment, Travel, People, Photos, Video, and Best & Worst Lists. On the far right there is a “Magazine” option, which allows you to navigate the magazine as it appears in hard copy, with the table of contents preserved. At the end of each article are suggested articles based on what you who read the article previously went on to read, and quotations of the day, and several other links. On the right hand side of article pages there are links to the current most popular articles and videos, and articles featured on Digg.com for the day. These appear on the home page as well, in slightly altered positions.

The front page features breaking stories – a story of the day, featured with a large picture, is at the forefront. It features user polls, which you can cast your opinion on topical issues and see results or view past polls, and multimedia, such as photo blogs and video, is showcased as well. In a large box near the bottom the contents of time.com are showcased in more specialized categories, which feature a selection of titles.

Time.com has a mainly Caucasian, male, affluent, and older audience. The average user lingers for several minutes, and can sign up for email newsletters near the upper right corner of the home page. These newsletters list the news and quotations of the day in a morning email.
