telegraph.co.uk is the one of the official websites of the Telegraph Media Group in London. The primary users of this site would be London residents or people interested in reading about news in London. The home page has a lot of content organized in a similar fashion to other news sites: News, Sports, Finance, Travel, Lifestyle and etceteras all in a top-level navigation for the site. There is a search box and weather ticker above the top-level navigation links, along with links to RSS feeds for the site. The site breaks out the sections from the top-level navigation down through the rest of the home page with News, Finance and Sport coming first in the middle of the page. Scrolling further, there are sections for “Editor’s Choice”, “Most Viewed”, “Pictures”, “Travel” and etceteras toward the bottom of the site. There are additional links to other sections of the site such as “Gardening” at the very bottom, along with your standard “Contact Us” links. Clicking on an actual news story will bring you to a page with that story, along with related stories and options for that story such as printing or emailing the article. Finally, on most of the separate pages for stories and certainly in the finance section there is a snapshot of the financial market values and a search box allowing the user to look up the share price for any company.
