The website features commentary, news, polling data, and links from all points of the political compass and covers important daily issues and stories as they happen. The site is divided into 4 main categories. The ‘Real Clear Politics’ section features news, analysis, editorials, transcripts and speeches, and a ‘Best Of The Blogs’ list relating to current political issues; the ‘Real Clear Market’ includes and ‘Off the Street’ feature comprised of articles relating to Wall Street and the economy, as well as transcripts, videos, research reports, and market news and analysis; the ‘Real Clear Sports’ section features sports news, fantasy news and analysis, and a ‘Best of the Sports Blogs’ list; and the ‘Real Clear World’ section features news, editorials, and analysis of world events and stories. The bottom of each page also features a list of the ‘Most Read’ news stories.

The ‘Videos’ section features video coverage of the latest news stories around the world; the ‘Issues’ section provides an alphabetical list of topics that once clicked, display the latest news and articles about that topic from sources around the web; the ‘Research’ section provides in-depth analysis of political strategies in various arenas; and the ‘Links’ section provides links to national papers, magazines, columnists, blogs, and electronic media.
