Users are advised to begin their search for a specific works by browsing the alphabetical author list. Visitors may access the site and literary works without registering. Subscriptions are available for ad-free viewing, for libraries, and for educators and include additional features such as online quizzes and a grading system. Individual prices begin at $5 for one month. Educator subscriptions are available in district accounts and are for use for as many as 20 teachers and 3,000 students. All subscriptions are available in increments of one month, one year, and lifetime.
The home page displays the number of authors found on this site plus the number of books, poems and short stories. The number of forum members and forum posts is also displayed. The body of the home page contains a link list of recent forum posts and the author list. Selecting an author link leads to a page displaying an image of the author with the year of birth, and year of death when applicable. A link list of the author’s works is shown and a biography of the author is found. Related links, articles, quizzes and forum posts regarding this author are displayed below the biography when they are available on the site.
