Jlab.org is the website for The Thomas Jefferson National Academy Facility. The Facility receives its funding from U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science and it receives support from the Newport newspaper. The facility’s function is to conduct basic research of the atom’s nucleus at the quark level. The website also has the aim to use the Free Electron Lasers based on technology developed in the lab to undertake physic experiments. The website targets those who are in the research field and may not be very helpful or entertaining for the general public.
