Ign.com is a video game and entertainment site that appeals to teens and young adults. Many resources are available via tabbed links for video game enthusiasts such as; previews, updates, news, game cheats and frequently asked questions. The home page lists recently released and soon-to-be released games. A search box powered by Google is found near the top of the page. Visitors may search the site or the Web from here.
Various blocks include a top 10 list, featured promotions, featured articles, latest reviews and videos. The scrollable video block allows a visitor to select clips of trailers from movies and game releases. A visitor may choose from a selection of free online games and downloadable games.
Visitors may use an additional search box to search for cheats, guides and frequently asked questions for specific game platforms. The IGN community offers blogs, message boards, IGN Clubhouse access and the Vault Network for role playing games. Certain features are not available to non-registered members. Registration is not recommended for children under 13. Some areas of the site do contain mature content.
