Some images are available for purchase with prices ranging from $1.99 to $2.99 depending on quality. Not all images are available in high resolution. This site also offers free animal-themed E-cards and a pet discussion forum.
Animal pictures are organized by the categories of birds, cats, dogs, exotics, farm animals, horses, reptiles and small animals. Once a main category is chosen users may then to select a specific breed or type, or view alphabetically. Clicking on the thumbnail view of the image leads to a larger image with the owner’s user name, the pet’s name and a brief description of the breed. If the image is available for purchase a ‘Buy My Picture!’ link will be present. A ‘Vote for me’ link is also present to vote for the animal for ‘Pet of the Month’.
Visitors may access all the site’s features but must be registered to vote, submit pet pictures, post in the forums and purchase images. Registered users may also advertise pets for sale and place lost & found ads at no charge. In order to contact an owner regarding a pet that is for sale users must purchase a subscription. Prices start at $9.95 for 90 days.
