Engadget is a web magazine with obsessive daily coverage of everything new in gadgets and consumer electronics. Engadget was launched in March of 2004 in partnership with the Weblogs, Inc. Network. The web site’s home page is filled with articles that appear according to the post date. The right side of the web site provides the following links; Mobile, HD, Espanol, Asia Europe, Web Imagaes, Video, News, and Local. Under the mobile tab visitors can find various articles and new involving mobile devices such as GPS navigation systems and cell phones. There is also a variety of articles on conflicts between companies that provide such products. The articles under HD cover anything that has to do with high definition media. Articles vary from updates made to the Playstation 3’s firmware that make blu-ray unusable, to the best High Definition sporting event this week. There is also a Spanish link. The Spanish page, however, only provides a translation for the articles under Mobile, not the entire web site. There is also a page in various oriental Asian languages however, like their Spanish counterpart, they are limited in content. If the visitor knows about a new technological release he or she is also welcome to tip Engadget about it using the specially provided link.
