This site gives you information about Carnegie Mellon University. The site itself is compact but very personable. It is colourful in reds and shades of greys. It is friendly in appearance with a smiling professor to greet visitors. The top of the page has the titles directories, news, calendar, libraries, careers and giving. To the left of the page are a search box and a quick links box. Then there are the titles Academics, Research, Student Life, Athletics and about us.
The middle of the page has the titles Energy and The Environment, Health and Wellness, Creativity and the Arts, Global Society and Economy and Next Generation Computing. The middle of the page has the title Awarded Danzig Prize and Cornuejols Pioneers New Solutions along with a write-up in the form of an article. To the left of that are more titles that the visitor can click on which are prospective students, current students, faculty and staff, Alumni, Parents and Family, Corporate Visitors.
Then there is a box titled Inspire Innovation which is the campaign for Carnegie Mellon. Under that you will find Carnegie Mellon News and Events. Then there are the titles Vertical Farming, Spirit Week, Fossil Fuels Hidden Cost, TechBridgeWorld Interactive, H1N1 Vaccine Update, Little Brags, and Big Ideas.Towards the bottom of the page you will find the related issues like the Tipper School of Business, Mathematical, Programming Society, and Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Under that you can click on submit story, archives and multimedia. There is a map and the title Where are we? Here you will find locations around the world.
