Cheatscodesguides.com is a site that provides game codes and cheats for popular electronic games. This site is owned by IGN Entertainment, Inc, an internet service and media provider that is part of Fox Interactive Media, Inc.
The homepage displays a list of the most popular cheats and codes sorted by game console and game. The homepage also features links to more cheats, an FAQ section, and game walkthroughs, all available on the parent site Ign.com.
The website is divided into nine different categories, which include PS2, PS3, XBOX 360, Wii, XBOX, Cube, DS, PSP, and PC. Clicking these categories displays a list of games specific to those game consoles. Clicking a game displays a page of cheats and codes available for that game.
The ‘System cheats’ section displays a list of cheats sorted by game systems and games, some not mentioned elsewhere on the site. The ‘Top Cheats’ section displays a list of the 50 top cheats on the site.
Visitors can submit cheats to the site by clicking the ‘Send Cheats’ section and submitting a short form. All submissions are evaluated by the site manager before being added to the site in an effort to reduce spam and inaccurate cheats. Registration is not required to submit cheats.
