Wcbstv.com is a website detailing all the local happenings in New York. At the top of the site is a toolbar that users can search for information and anything that they wish. On the site, there is a video section embedded in the site that shows local news and top stories not only on New York but also around the United States and the world. Although the biggest section is “Top Stories”, there is a slideshow feature beneath it that informs the public about the daily news and most important developing and breaking news. There is a politics section which informs the public about the laws passed, and things that have been done to help the community. There is a section entitled, “CBS 2 HD Health Watch”, a section that informs all residents about local health news and the latest on swine flu. There is also a sports section where fans can be learned about big trades and daily scores. There is also an entertainment section where fans can get the latest news on celebrities and rumors. Also, the site features videos and full-length episodes from the larger CBS affiliate. The site is great for people who live in the New York area and New England as a whole.
