The website aims to help students learn about programs specific to the career path. The website provides gateway information about the 23 schools listed in the system. Students will also find information about the programs that these schools offer. The goal of the website is to help students earn their associates degrees so they can move on to the next step. The left side of the homepage contains a navigation section which features links to news & events, wizard news, dateline 2009, jobs, course & programs, and the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education. A quick link section features links to resources like academics, instructional technology, chancellor, facilities, human resources, information technology, professional development, state board, research & statistics, and more. In the “who we are” section visitors can learn about the organization, its history, and mission.
