Usc.edu is the official site of the University of Southern California. A link to learn more about the university is prominently displayed. A site index, directories, contact information and safety and emergency links are found at the top of the page. This site is searchable, or users may choose from a variety of links such as; admission, academics, research, patient care, community, arts, or globalization. Most of these links contain drop down lists for more specific information. Links are also available for students, faculty, alumni, parents, sports, giving and jobs. Already registered users may choose the myUSC link.
A person at the university is featured and clicking on his or her picture will lead to information about that person with a link to 'view all'. Headline links and abstracts of USC related news articles are displayed on the home page. Upcoming events are displayed under the heading of Arts & Events. An interactive map displaying USC locations is available. Users may also choose to see maps of specific campuses, or "TommyCam" for live images and weather from campus.
'Quick links' are located near the bottom of the home page for 'OASIS', libraries, bookstores, a catalog, schedule of classes, registration, financial aid, 'OTIS', web mail, 'Inside USC' and jobs. The addresses and phone numbers of the University Park campus and the Health Sciences campus are displayed at the bottom of the home page.
