Think Geek started with an idea. This idea was to create and sell stuff that would appeal to thousands of people who were on the front line as the internet began. The site is a way to serve a market that wanted technology from programmers, engineers, students, lovers of open source to the internet culture. The top of the site has account, wish lists, and fortunes and bug us along with a live chat and number. Then the titles are shop by category, shop for gifts, what’s new, OMGWTFun, Geek Points and Customer Service.
Under that is a search box and the links to T-shirts and Apparel, Home and Office, Geek Kids and more. The middle of the page has a changing photo with many smaller photos and information on products like the Rovio, BlipTronic 5000 and more. The right side of the page has New Stuff FTW with products like Pirates of the Bath Tub, CRKT Eat’N Tool along with photos and prices. You will find an email update and catalogue and then more names, photos, descriptions and prices of products. You can find on sale stuff too!
Under that is another section with more enjoyable items, titles and photos like the Klingon Korkscrew, Hadron Collider and more. The bottom of the site has Twitter, You Tube and a Blog. Under that you will find everything listed and titled for easy access. This site is for anyone who loves technology and innovation and wants to find something unique and different in a shopping experience.
