Purplemath.com is a math forum that is dedicated in helping students gain an understanding in algebra and become better math students. In this site, the discussions are presented in a forum style where students can pose one huge problem and receive feedback from everyone around them. This site in particular is one that specializes in algebra, so all children with problems with algebraic equations and functions should make this site their best friend or maybe even a homepage. There is a search bar at the top right hand section that is not powered by the site but by Freefinder. Usually, sites that are not able to use their own search bars are seen as inadequate and dependent. However, this site loses major points in credibility because its search bar is not made by the site and even worse than Google.
