Popmatters.com is an international webzine that focuses on popular culture criticism. The front page offers a slideshow of featured articles, as well as recent articles from each of the site’s sections, including mixed media, moving citations, highlights, announcements, and blog links. The Features tab provides links to each of the site’s major articles sections: Music, Film, Television, DVDs, Books, Comics, Multimedia, Events, and Culture. The Column tab features links for the same topics, but they lead to opinion columns rather than to articles. The Blogs tab provides alternate links to the site’s featured blogs, and the site’s News tab leads to purely news articles on each of those same topics. Then, the rest of the tabs are tabs that lead to each of the topic sections, and they include lists of features, columns, and news articles, as well as reviews, events, mixed media, and more. Links to the site’s Facebook and Twitter pages, RSS feed, and Amazon site to purchase the webzine on Kindle can be found in the upper right of the page. To the left of those links are links to the About section, Submissions, Advertising for interested companies and parties, and a list of the site’s staff.
