Picnik is the default editor on Flickr and Photo Works and integrates seamlessly with a variety of websites including Flickr, Facebook, Picasa Web Albums, Photo bucket, Web shots, Lexmark and Box.net. In December, 2007, Picnik won the Macworld Editors' Choice Award in the Web category. You must register, but it’s free, and you can upload up to five photos at a time. The site is very easy to maneuver, and can be set to one eight languages: English, Dutch, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Italian and Portuguese. The site attracts 2.4 million users per month in the US alone. Should you decide to upgrade, the Premium package is available for $24.95 per year. The home page features three main tabs: Home, Library and Fancy Collage. In fancy Collage there are eight themes available: Baby Boy / Baby Girl , Valentine’s Day Packs 1 & 2, Winter Holidays, Christmas, Christmas Memories, Heritage and Brag Book. There’s a Full screen button, but that generates a pop up inviting you to buy the premium service, so apparently it’s not possible to edit your photos in full screen using the free service.
