This site contains free downloads of older software applications for individuals who simply prefer an older version, or are using older operating systems and/or older 9 (and usually slower) computers. Link lists of available individual applications are found on the home page. Users may also browse applications via the title link. Title categories include 'Messengers', 'File Sharing', 'Web Browsers', 'Image Editing', 'Office & Editing', 'FTP Clients', 'File Archivers', 'Drivers', utilities, including email and music & video, and CD, DVD, Developer and security tools. Many applications are found in multiple versions.
The 'Most Popular Archives' are listed for the current year and for all years. Software versions newly added to the site are also displayed. A 'Quick Search', box is available to search the site for one of these applications, or for any software by name. Application pages include a list of available versions when available, a brief description & history of the application and a 'Software Overview' that includes the software provider, the current version, the license type and supported operating systems. Software versions that are known to contain adware or other unwanted programs are marked as such.
By default the listed applications are Windows programs. Mac users may select the 'Old Mac Versions' link to see applications available for Macintosh computers.
