Netlog.com is a European social networking site developed by Netlog NV, a company based in Ghent, Belgium.

The homepage features a list of 30 languages to choose from and once a language is chosen, the visitor is directed to a welcome/login screen. Visitors must create a free account in order to access most of the content on the site.

The ‘Explore’ section provides a main profile page where members can view news, events, videos, and shouts, and add photos to their profile. Here, members have access to the ‘Friend Finder’ tool that lets them find friends on the site by name and email address. This section also provides links to member profiles, photos, blogs, groups, videos, and events, as well as links to musician pages, brand pages, applications, and games.

The ‘Manage’ section provides a detailed profile editing page and links to different profile sections. Members can view and edit their public profile by clicking the ‘Profile’ link in this section.

The ‘Logs’ section provides a list of unread notifications, as well as friend and group logs that track friend and group activity. Members can also view profile stats, such as number of visitors to their profile by clicking the ‘Visitors’ link in this section.

The ‘Messages’ section displays the latest messages received, as well as a list of sent and deleted messages. The ‘Friends’ section displays a list of friends that can be sorted by status, name, nickname, birthday, and date. Members can also view pending friend requests, friend history, and links to the friend finder and adding friends directly.

The ‘Settings’ section displays a page where members can edit their nickname, email address, and privacy settings. Members can also view member alerts, services offered by the site, and credit information. Credits can be purchased in order to purchase applications and games on the site.
