Nationalledger.com is the official website of the National Ledger, a webzine about pop culture, politics, and news, a self-described “eclectic mix.” The front page features lists of the most recent articles in each of the site's major article categories. It also has an About menu on the right, with information on the site itself, the site’s columnists, how to submit stories, a search function, a Contact Us function,and links. The front page is also home to the site’s two blogs, the Ledger Pop Journal, about popular culture, and the Ledger DC Journal, about politics in Washington D.C., the nation, and the world. A second, smaller menu below has a site map, the site’s privacy policy, its user terms, and information on how to advertise on the site. Each of the main article categories has its own tab at the top of the page, leading to a subpage with recent articles in a list. These categories/tabs are: Pop Culture, Politics & Crime, News & Tech, Lifestyle, and Celebrity Photos. Lifestyle features a variety of articles from food to medicine to just crazy stuff, and Celebrity Photos features photo galleries of select celebrities (American Idol included as a whole) and related news/information articles. There are alternate links to each of these sections at the bottom of the page, as well as links to corresponding XML feeds.
