This is a social networking web site ‘master’ for MySpace users, of interest mainly to teenagers and young adults. The uniqueness of this site is that MySpace user can choose a background layout and special graphics for use on their personal ‘space’ on that social networking site. The site’s main menu is a side window from which the user can select from the various options available, including layouts, backgrounds, MySpace generators and graphics to enhance their space. There are close to 50 layout categories, and each has dozens or layouts to choose from. Categories include Christmas, sports, supermodel, guys, fashion, cartoon and retro, just to name a few. Once the users chooses a layout or background they would like, they access the Layout Code for that product, log in to their MySpace account, and use to code to upload the layout in their “Edit My Profile” link. This process is simple to navigate. The quality of the layouts and backgrounds available is quite good, and they add a more personal touch to the user’s MySpace.
This site itself is clearly laid out, uncluttered, with a minimum of sponsor advertising down the ride side window. The central pane displays the layouts and backgrounds selected for previewing by the visitor, and the graphics are clear and colorful.
