Lijit was created and started in 2006. Lijit has its headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. Lijit provides search-powered application to individual online publishers and online publisher networks to increase page views and reader engagement while at the same time optimizing search and revenue. Lijit also allows advertisers to place keyword ads in search results across thousands of sites in targeted topical networks. To join Lijit, there are 3 steps that must be taken. First, one must enter their blog URL and click on “Get Lejit.” Secondly, Lejit will automatically find your blog, bookmarks, photos, videos and social networks. Finally, one installs the search Wijit on their blog and watch the fascinating stats. Lijit also offers a variety of other features besides page view increase. Some of those features include; search overlay, tabs, comments, thumbnails, make money, search all your online, Twitter results, Flickr results, YouTube results, customization, and trusted content.
