Kansas.com is the official website of the Wichita Eagle, the largest newspaper in the Wichita area. The front page includes featured stories and videos, as well as news and business updates, photo galleries, and editors’ picks, the last of which are not simply news reports. Below are menus for each of the major sections of the newspaper, which can also be accessed through the blue tabs at the top of the screen. In these menus, there are stories as well as subcategories for each of the sections. The sections are: News, Business, Sports, Life & Entertainment, Nation & World, and Opinion. On the right of the screen are ads, the most popular stories, the site calendar, Healthy Living, blog posts, Weird News, and Celebrities. Other tabs at the top include Jobs, Auto, Real Estate, Classifieds, Newspaper Ads, and Place an Ad. At the very top of the page, you can also subscribe to the paper or to its internet version, the E-Eagle. The site has a search function powered by Yahoo, and you can check out the site archives, its RSS feed, Facebook and Twitter pages, blogs, and forums. The site also features weather reports just to the right of its logo at the top of the page.
