The website was founded in October 2006. Justin.tv is a very popular place where users broadcast, interact, and watch online videos. The website has about 428,000 channels that bring the website’s guests live video. At the very top of the website is a search bar that is stretched across the whole website. On this search bar users can search for videos, login, or switch the language on the website. The Top left side of the homepage features a large video box with a button inside of it. Users can click on the button to start the life broadcast. Visitors will find a group of smaller box that show upcoming programs that are going to air on justin.tv. Next below the large search box users can click a button marked “watch now” in order to go watch the live channels. The homepage also features information about popular shows on the website. Users can search for live video under the categories producers, social, entertainment, gaming, sports, news & events, animals, science & tech, educational, auto, business, miscellaneous, and real estate. Users can watch videos on the website without registering; however registered user can post comments on videos, create a channel that shows their videos, create a profile, build fans, create a programming schedule, add clips, and have an archive section. Registered users can access Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace chat directly from the website. Justin.tv offers all kinds of content and since it is streaming live content users never know what they can find on the website.
