This is a political opinion web site created and operated by Alex Jones, internationally recognized veteran broadcaster, documentary filmmaker, and investigative journalist. A Constitutionalist, Jones aggressively defends the American Bill of Rights, property rights, and American borders, and argues against foreign disputes and wars for the sake of corporate and banking interests. This site epitomizes that ethic. The main toolbar features a link to Jones’ radio show and tapes, as well as to other web sites, such as Prison Planet TV and Forum, and sponsor sites similar in their political opinions. The site is red, white and blue predominantly, and laid out such that much of the advertising is aligned with topics that deal with issues similar in nature to products being promoted. For example, a DVD entitled, “Fall of the Republic,” which is critical of President Obama’s policies, is placed adjacent to news and opinion articles that echo that sentiment. As well, visitors to the site are invited to comment on all news articles and opinion pieces featured on the web site. Overall, the site’s graphics are clear and colorful, and the print is easily read and scalable. The links, however, are somewhat slow, with each window having a high volume of repeated sponsor advertising.
