Most of the time I’ve people talk about a lot of different historic school, but I have never hear them mention Georgetown University. Many be it because the don’t considered it as one of the historical universities in the United States, but for a who was founded in same year our constitution come to effect I would think a school like that should make the history book. Founded in 1789, the same year the U.S. Constitution took effect; Georgetown University is the nation's oldest Catholic and Jesuit University. Today, Georgetown is a major international research university that embodies its founding principles in the diversity of our students, faculty, and staff, our commitment to justice and the common good, the school’s intellectual openness, and our international character. Addition to the main website, they have created a different website in which the purpose is to of the University web site is intended to convey the diversity of their university's vibrant community and to articulate the central themes of the university's mission -- academic excellence; Catholic, Jesuit identity; and international presence to the broad range of constituents visiting the Georgetown Web daily. This seems to be working find. The website is full of information, like Lead stories, New, events, and University’s status.
