Foreignpolicy.com is the official website of Foreign Policy, a bimonthly American magazine that focuses on American foreign policy. The front page features a slide show of recent foreign policy news articles and commentary, with menus featuring prominent articles based on topic headings, like Failed States or others discussed in recent issues of the magazine just below, as well as a feed of the most recent articles at the bottom. There is also a Flashpoints feed just to the right with other recent articles. On the far right are Editors’ Picks, available site jobs, and links to associated websites. The Magazine link at the top of the page provides information on what is in the most recent magazine and links to the articles, and the Archives link has articles from all of the previous issues. The Global News link simply has general news from around the world. The Passport tab takes you to a blog by the site’s editors, while the Drezner, Ricks, and Walt tabs take you to columns by some of the site’s most prominent writers. The AfPak Channel tab provides information exclusively on Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the Mideast Channel covers the rest of the Middle East. The Shadow Government tab provides commentary on the current administration from the “loyal opposition,” and the Cable tab is about the U.S. government’s actual foreign policy process.
