Excite is a web site very similar to web sites such as Yahoo and MSN. The website offers a variety of content ranging from the stock watch lists, money tips and articles, sports articles, weather look up, tv guides, and even movie timings. Excite also offers a search bar similar to its counterparts that allow the user to search the web, search through images, search through the news, search through audio files, and even search through video files. Also, there is an option for the user to search through the Yellow and or the White pages. Also, Excite provides a variety of other services such as a personalized home page and many other things. However, in order to use the personalized Excite home page, email, message boards, and/or portfolio, one must either sign in or register as an Excite member. Registration is 100% free and only takes a minute. One also get full access to members-only features on Excite. Excite is also undergoing an email upgrade with new features such as Simple Click (one can view and open his or her contacts from any tab in the email client), My Day (allows the user to list all of his or her appointments, any notification one may have, and even display a personal task list) and a new attachment limit from 10 to 25 megabytes.
