exava.com is a website dedicated to providing shopping information for prospective customers. The site allows customers to comparison shop on many different products from electronics to clothing. The home page of this site is very simple with no scrolling in any direction required. The site immediately grabs your attention with a “what are you shopping for?” search box followed by pictures of sample products. Below this there are 14 shopping categories you can browse through, followed by the typical links at the bottom (About, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, etc). Clicking on any one of the category links takes you to a detailed listing of products in that category with prices and the locations where you can purchase the product for that price. There is a new interface on this sub page as well with multiple options to filter results by, customized by the type of product you are browsing. There are several banner advertisements on the sub pages, customized by the content you are looking at (i.e. Best Buy ads on the computer sub page). Finally, there is a link at the top right hand corner of the site titled “see all”, which brings you to a page that lists out all the product categories and sub categories on the site.
