Espin.com is a social networking site for teens. The name is a reference to the game, Spin the Bottle. The game is directly referred to in the frequently asked questions section of the site as teens as told the second step in the process of the site is to "spin the freakin' bottle". Teens remain anonymous until they are assured the person he or she is interested in express an interest also.
The site offers more matchmaking tools for users who take advantage of the site's 'premium services'. Premium services include instant messaging, an internal email system, an astrological profile, high exposure of the user's photo and other matching tools. These services are 'unlocked' by supporting one of the site's sponsors.
The home page displays a series of user photos, the 'latest quiz results' with titles such as "What's Your Kissing IQ?" and 'How Do You Party?". A block entitled "Bored? More Fun Stuff To Do!' contains a link list for various quizzes and tips on dating, kissing, relationships and rating who's hot. Registered users can play 'Secret Crush' by entering an age range from 16 to 21 and choosing a gender. Link categories displayed across the page include quizzes, battles, advice, secret crush, photo polls, top-ten list and 'judge me'.
