Enotes is an innovative fact checked, edited, reviewed and written by professionals comprehensive online educational resource unlike any other. It is used by students, professors, and researchers. Enotes also offers over 3500 study guides, question and answer forums, literature criticism, reference content, and more. The website is divided into four main sections including the tabs bar located at the top of the home page. Tabs are labeled Literature, Question and Answer, Groups, Documents, Teachers, College, and Reference. The next section of the website is the eNotes groups along with the News in Groups section. The groups are not created by the eNotes staff but rather by the members themselves. Because of this, there is large variety of groups ranging from topics or subjects like Apex College to person groups such as “Jordans Group” which was featured in the Newest Groups” section of the home page. The New Group Activity shows recent posts in the new groups that were created by the members. The next section of the website shows the most active groups. In here the visitor can find broad groups such as Law, Reference, and Social Sciences. The more narrower topics that the visitor can find in the Most Active Groups section deal with subjects such as Hamlet. The final section of the home page is titled Popular groups. Most of the topics covered under Popular Groups consist mainly of Literature titles such as To Kill a Mockingbird and even Romeo and Juliet. In order to create a group one must be a member of eNotes. To register one needs to enter an email address, their first and last name, a username, and password.
