English Test is an online English writing resource for those just learning to write. The site was designed with users whose first language is not English in mind. Founded in 2003, English Test now offers English resources for users of all skill levels, from very new English speakers, to advanced users preparing for the vocabulary section of standardized tests. The site offers online lessons, audio lessons, listening exercises, speaking exercises, and educational downloads.
For those looking to begin speaking English, the site provides a free email course to help users to learn basic English. Visitors can also download a variety of basic English resources, such as ESL worksheets for students, English grammar tests, vocabulary builders, English synonym tests, as well as e-books on writing cover letters, and writing for business. More advanced users have access to study guides for standardized test including the SAT, GRE, MCAT, PCAT, GMAT, ASVAB, TOEFL, and TOEIC tests. Additionally, visitors can practice their skills using practice versions of these tests to further prepare. There are 1900 tests in total available on the site, so users can find a test suited to their needs. Finally, visitors to the site can access online forums to meet with other users learning on the site, to find support and discuss the learning process.
