domaintools.com is a website that allows you to perform extensive research on domains for particular websites. The site immediately draws your eyes to the “whois search”, which, when you use it, provides information about the current and historical owners of that particular web domain. The site has a very simple interface on the home page with links to the various services they provide such as “reverse IP”, “typo generator”, “domain monitor” and etceteras. The “more tools and services” link takes you to a page that lists out all the tools offered by the site.
