Dartmouth.edu is the official website of Dartmouth College, an Ivy League school located in Hanover, New Hampshire. The front page features lots of news articles both about the school and about the school in the actual news. It also features information on upcoming events, a place to submit questions, a link to donate to Dartmouth, and more. The main tabs are Academics, where you can find out about the various majors offered at Dartmouth, and Research, about Research currently being conducted at Dartmouth and opportunities to do research there. Other tabs include Campus Life, about actually living at Dartmouth, and About Dartmouth, which relates the college’s history and mission, and provides information about, among other things, the area, the campus, donations, and staying there over the summer. To the right on the main page are links to resources for current and prospective students, faculty and staff, alumni, and parents and families. Below those links are “quicklinks” to important parts of the site, like campus maps, calendars, academic departments, the registrar, the library, and the Hopkins Center for the Arts. There is a search function at the upper right of the page, as well as a site map, an A to Z index, and a directory. You can also check the weather and use the links to Dartmouth’s Facebook, YouTube, and Flickr pages.
