Unlike most university websites, where athletics are highly featured, the link to “Athletics” is somewhat buried well down the page. It is clear from looking at the site that academic endeavors are at the core of this university, and students, teachers, and alumni take this very seriously, indeed.

For prospective students, the website has information on courses of study, financial aid, and an online admission application. For current students, the website is a wealth of resources – from an online library, career center, and listing of clubs and activities, to ways to register for classes, pay fees, and check grades – Cornell.edu provides everything a student would need.

For alumni – or “Cornellians” as they are called – the website provides ways to reach other alumni, stories on alumni that have been exceedingly successful, and a means to provide funding to the university through donations.
