Clinicaltrials.gov is a site that is a service of the United States National Institutional of Health. There are a couple of main sections at the right top hand side of the page. The sections are home, search, study topics, and glossary. This site is a registry of federally and privately supported clinical conducted in the United States and around the world. The site also gives persons information about the purpose of a trial, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for more details. This information should be and is used in conjunction with advice from health care professionals. There is a search bar near the resources section that should come into use for a lot of the first timers on the site. At the homepage, one can look at the three sections, which are search for clinical trials, investigator instructions, and background information. Sections at the right hand side of the page are understanding clinical trials, what's new, and glossary, list studies by conditions, list studies by drug intervention, list studies by location. This site is great for people that are either informative or people that are looking for information about federally and privately supported clinical trials conducted in the United States.
