Upon first view this is a vibrant site with everything food and drink. The title itself is in big red letters and the adjacent blurb reads, “Food, Drink, Fun!” This is a site where food lovers can come and interact. If you want to post you have to sign up and create a profile. At the top of the page you will find special coverage sections including Eat like the Nimans, Put a Twist on a Classic, Beer Here and the Perfect Fried Chicken. Directly under this you can find Chowhound, Recipes, Restaurants and Bars, Stories, Video, Blog and My Chow.

To begin the page you will find a rotating picture of food, people or whatever suits the story. This piece will be featuring tips, questions and recipes. There is a columns section with entries on everything from food to manners. A little further down you can find a section of stories that are interesting and varied. Of course this interesting site would not be complete without a recipe section with great recipes and vibrant pictures to accompany them. In this section you can search for a recipe or even add your own favorites.

In fact Chow.com even tells you the basic recipes that you should know without using a recipe. Now that is useful! There is a blog section with some quirky questions and entries. If you feel like watching some videos and learning something new then there is a section for that too! Finally, to finish the site there is a section called Chowhound. In this section readers and people who sign up to the site can ask and post topics and get replies from other members. This is a neat little addition and does add for some interest in the responses from others. It even shows you when the last post went up.
