This is a huge site that is dedicated to giving the largest and broadest population of Catholics worldwide access to comprehensive, educational and up to date information. The mission of the site is to represent the Catholic religion. Catholic online has over five million pages of content! This includes the largest online historical and biblical database. The site itself is pretty simple and relies on the pictures for excitement. The very top of the page has the most popular, email, newsletters, shopping, bookstore, travel, and singles, find a church and video. You can also make it your homepage if you wish.
Under that you can enter questions and keywords in the search box and then there is weather, rss, advertisers and publishers links. To the left of the page are the titles shopping, bookstore, free email, our services, find a church, vocations and singles. Then the site goes into stories along with pictures. There is a section for videos and the latest news with home and family, PRWire and the Top Ten. You can ask Dr. Denton all those nagging questions. Then there is a section for Daily Reading and more articles. To the left are more titles like video, featured today and more.
The titles on the left continue down the page with bible, directory, finance, prayers, vocations and more. The middle of the page has a box for Celebrate Christmas with advent info and gifts. To the right of the page is a large ad for Mystic Monk Coffee. Continuing down the page you find Politics and Home and Family. Here are the titles Top Stories, Living and Faith, Home and Food, Love, Family and Health. Under that is Featured Today with articles and Women in the 3rd Millennium and Op/Ed. You can subscribe to the email Saints Lives. Under that is Family Finance. Then there is a section for Arts and Entertainment with Book Reviews and T.V. Reviews and Cartoons.
There is another area to the right that has the Most Popular emailed, viewed, rated and searched titles. Then you will find a section on Shopping with Statues, music and school resources. Under that is the Bookstore and under that is Vocations. Towards the bottom of the page you will find photos and travel along with the largest list of Saints and Angels. The last section is titled Prayers with subtitles to choose from underneath. Of course all the links are at the bottom for easy access.
