Bmw.com is the official website of BMW, or Bavarian Motor Works, the major German auto manufacturing company. The front page can be viewed in either English or in German. The International Website menu lets you select any one of a number of BMW topics, mostly car models, to view. This menu also includes used automobiles and BMW service. The National Website menu lets you select your country of origin to view its corresponding official BMW website. The Additional BMW websites link takes you to a list of other, related BMW sites, and the BMW Group link takes you to the company information and investor relations site. On the International Website, you can go to BMW’s online shop, where you can purchase BMW apparel, accessories, and bicycles, though not cars. You can also create your own, ideal BMW using the virtual configurator by clicking on the Configure Vehicle link, request a catalogue to look at all of BMW’s cars and products, and locate a BMW dealer near you. The international site has a link to its Facebook page underneath the Configure Vehicle, Request a Catalogue, and Locate a Dealer links. The national sites include many of the same features as the international sites, only tailored to the individual countries. They also include other functions like getting quotes or requesting test drives.
