blogs.com is a website dedicated to helping its users “discover the best about blogs”. The site aggregates a daily “roundup” of the “best blogs” for display to its users. The primary users of this site are anyone interested in easily finding links to blogs in multiple categories that have been reviewed by a team of editors and deemed interesting to read. The site has a top-level navigation aimed at directing the user to the different types of blogs they can read, such as Technology, News & Politics, Top 10 Lists and etceteras. There is a search box in the upper right hand corner along with a “submit your blogs now” feature, which allows the user to submit their blog to the site for consideration in listing it. Submitting your blog to the site is an easy process as you only need to enter the name, URL and description of the blog. The main part of the site calls out blogs “from the editors” that have been picked as the most engaging for that day. Continuing down the site, there are links to recent top 10 lists, a signup feature for the site newsletter, the guest top 10 list and recent blog posts to the site. Clicking on a blog link will take you to that blog listing, along with information about the author and links to their other blogs (along with the ability to comment on the blog). Finally, the bottom of the site contains links to the usual suspects, i.e. “About Us”, “Terms of Service”, and etceteras.
