Associatedcontent.com is an online publishing site with a collection of user submitted content. Content may be audio, video, images, or text-only articles. Content may be viewed by a casual visitor. A search box is available to search for content or content producers. There is an advanced search option. A user may select from an A to Z list of categories on the home page and be taken to a page with a list of recently published content on the chosen subject.

The home page contains Featured Content Producers, Today’s Highlights, In the News and Spotlight. An additional block encourages businesses to become a Content Partner. Archived content may be accessed by month for the previous five years.

A visitor may indicate he or she enjoyed the content by a click on ‘recommend’. Additional options include emailing or bookmarking the content or posting it to one of the other sites listed. A visitor may comment on the content or read the comments left by other users.

A user must register for a free account in order to publish content. A registered user may also choose favorite content producers, receive messages, create a profile and send invitations to friends and family members. Content can be submitted for upfront payment or for performance payment only. Content producers may select to give Associated Content exclusive or non-exclusive rights to the submitted content.
