Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit and non-denomination organization. The organization provides food, relief, and financial support to families across the United States. The service was first started in Monroe, Georgia by Pastor Joe and Linda Wingo along with 34 other families. Since its birth the organization has serviced families across 35 states. Anyone can apply for help or apply to help others. In the program the boxes of food are delivered to the participating Ministries form the Angel Food distributor. The families receive a box with various food stuff ready to use for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The box also includes frozen and fresh fruits. Also the families receive boxes with different food stuff each month. On the homepage users can search for a host site near them, view the month’s menu, read the latest news, and pre order a Thanksgiving Holiday box. Users will can find recipes, cooking instructions, and submit recipes. Users will find news and event information. Users can find information about food stamps, the process, and applying for them. Ministries can apply in order to become a host sites. Lastly, in the multimedia center users will find the promo video, and other informational videos about the services offered, and how one can help.
